Sizing
1. Before the order has been placed with us, please review the order to ensure that the style, size and color are correct.
2. All gowns are custom made and or custom tailored by size if you are ordering from out SHOP.
3. Above The Curve Fashion is NOT responsible for measurements not taken by anyone other than Above The Curve Fashion Stylist so it is strongly suggested that you have you measurements taken by a professional.
4. Some of our special occasion garments are custom made and or on hand in store. Measurements are taken to ensure the best fit possible; however, alterations are almost always necessary to ensure formal special occasion fit.
Garment Creation Order Processing Timeframe
- Most Wedding & Special Occasion garments are special order and or are on site in our shop as retail purchases.
Custom Made Items require 4 to 12 months for production/Purchase Time unless specified as a rush order.
An 8 to 12 week time frame should be honored when creating a custom made piece.
Specifically referencing custom made items , rush orders but require a 50% to 75% of the budget to be paid upfront to ensure our staff is properly compensated for the overtime required to complete custom made rush orders.
A fee of $199 to $699 will be applied to your balance depending on the complexity of the design. Please call us directly if you have a rush order or custom made item. We can complete a gown in as little as 10 business days & we have items in the SHOP as well.

Consultation Fees & Terms
1. Consultation fee is charge at the first meeting. (fee is credited towards balance) During this meeting an initial sizing (measurements) are completed.
A. $65 Wedding Attire
B. $35 Prom Attire
Payments Plans on Custom Made Items & Special Financing for Retail Only
- We accept all major forms of payment including cash
- A 50% to 75% Deposit is required on all orders unless otherwise specified in your bridal service contract for custom made items
- Please email us your budget and we will reply with step by step instructions on the custom made items create@abovethecurvedesigns.com
- For Ready to Wear items go straight to the shop and see that we also have In House Low Interest Financing Available for our Ready to wear Shop items up to $10,000
- This does not apply to the custom made order process above
Shipping Time for Ready to Wear Items: Domestic & International
- We also ask that for domestic orders within the U.S., you allow an additional 7 to 15 days for shipping before your garment arrives
- For international orders, depending on your country, please allow an additional 15 to 30 days before your garment arrives
Additional Services Offered
1. Pressing is included ONCE when alterations are completed by Above The Curve Fashion, Bridal, Special Occasion & Prom’s preferred alteration service.
2. Gowns altered at Above The Curve Fashion may be pressed additional times for a fee of $55.
3. Pressing for gowns not altered at Above The Curve Fashion is available for a charge of $65.
4. Pressing for veils, slips, and other accessories is available for an for a charge of $35
5. Merchandise to be pressed must be in the store no later than seven to ten days prior to the scheduled pick up date.
6. Dry cleaning before or after the event is available for an additional fee of $145.
7. Above The Curve Fashion does not recommend dry cleaning for Custom order garments, as they are a brand new product.
8. Gown preservation is available for an additional fee.
